Our History

Burns Truck & Trailer Services was founded in 1991 in a small location in Ceres, California. What began as a three-person operation focused on basic maintenance quickly grew through hard work, dependable service, and strong customer relationships.

In 1994, we relocated to a 5,000-square-foot facility at Jimco Truck Plaza in Ripon, California. Over the next nine years, our team grew from three employees to ten, and our customer base continued to expand throughout the Central Valley.

In 2003, the transportation landscape in Ripon changed dramatically with the arrival of two major truck stops. Recognizing the opportunity to better serve the growing trucking community, Burns Truck & Trailer purchased 3.25 acres behind Love’s Travel Stop and expanded once again.

Today, our facility includes a 20,000-square-foot building with eight bays dedicated to general truck and trailer repair, along with four truck wash bays. In 2004, we also began providing support services to the aerospace industry—an opportunity that broadened our technical knowledge and created new opportunities for our team.

More than three decades later, Burns Truck & Trailer continues to grow while staying true to the values that built the company: honest work, dependable service, and a genuine commitment to the people and businesses we serve. Our team now includes more than 20 skilled employees, each playing an important role in keeping our customers moving.
