History
Burns Truck and Trailer Services was established in 1991 in a relatively small location in Ceres, California. We began with basic maintenance and small team of three. Within the first few years business consistently grew. In 1994 we relocated our business to a 5,000 square foot building at the Jimco Truck Plaza in Ripon, California. We continued to experience solid growth throughout the next nine years! Our team expanded from three to ten members and our customer base was significantly increasing.
In 2003 the landscape for transportation in the Ripon area changed dramatically. Two large fueling truck stops moved to town! Recognizing the growing potential we quickly made the decision to expand once again. We purchased 3.25 acres just behind Love’s Truck Stop. We have since constructed a 20,000 square foot building which includes 8 bays for general truck and trailer repair and four bays for a truck wash. In 2004 a very unique opportunity was presented to us. We began support services for the Aerospace Industry. This opportunity has allowed our team to grow in so many different aspects of their careers and has been instrumental in the expansion of our knowledge as a business. Our team now consists of over 20 employees all with very distinct and imperative roles that contribute to the overall success of Burns Truck and Trailer.
